I just picked up a copy of Slow Death by Rubber Duck. This book discusses all the toxins that we are exposed to in our everyday lives. Without having turned the first page, I have disposed of all plastic cups and cutlery in our house. I’m not sure why it ever took this long. It’s not news that plastic is harmful to children and adults. I guess part of me didn’t want to believe it? When something is so ubiquitous, it becomes almost unbelievable that we’ve allowed it to penetrate our lives for so long and in so many ways.
I’ll be sharing some information from this book and all the others that I’ve been reading over the past few months and hope that it will be useful.
